Family nutrition plays an important role in supporting child growth and development, particularly during the age of 6–24 months when complementary foods are required to meet nutritional needs. Limited knowledge among families, especially mothers, regarding the composition and preparation of high-protein complementary foods may affect the adequacy of children’s nutrient intake. This community service activity aimed to improve family nutrition knowledge and mothers’ skills in preparing high-protein complementary foods. The activity was conducted on August 9, 2024, in Kedunglengkong Village, Simo District, Boyolali Regency, involving 50 participants from the PKK mothers group. The methods included family nutrition education, complementary feeding education, and demonstrations of preparing high-protein complementary foods based on fish and chicken. The results showed that participants gained improved understanding of the importance of family nutrition, proper complementary feeding practices, and appropriate and safe food preparation techniques. This activity is expected to support the improvement of toddler nutritional status through increased family involvement in providing nutritious foods.
