Education and Application of Arabica Coffee Pruning Techniques to Improve The Productivity of The Pamas Farmers' Group In Sumber Sari Village, Kabawetan, Bengkulu

Pamas Tani concentrates on the cultivation of Arabica coffee in mountainous areas that have great potential to produce high-quality coffee. The Pamas Tani Farmers Group still faces a number of problems in its management, especially related to the right agricultural methods, one of which is the method of pruning coffee plants. This service aims to provide comprehensive and applicable training related to Arabica coffee pruning techniques. The target of the activity in the Pamas Tani group consisting of 17 members, this activity is carried out by providing education and direct application of pruning techniques in Arabica Coffee plantations. The results obtained by the farmer group became aware of the importance of the coffee pruning agenda in their gardens, then the members of the farmer group became motivated to immediately implement pruning in their coffee fields. Farmer groups acquire managerial and technical skills so that they can strengthen organizational capabilities. Pruning is useful for increasing production yields.
