PENGARUH JOB SATISFACTION DAN CHALLENGE DEMANDS TERHADAP WORK ENGAGEMENT PEGAWAI PERUSAHAAN UMUM DAERAH AIR MINUM TIRTO NEGORO KABUPATEN SRAGEN

Abstract

Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum Tirto Negoro Kabupaten (PERUMDA) is a company that has the main task of selling and distributing drinking water to the community. This study aims to analyze the effect of job satisfaction and challenge demands on the work engagement of employees of the Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum Tirto Negoro Kabupaten. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. The population of this research is 103 respondents from Perusahaan Umum Daerah Air Minum Tirto Negoro Kabupaten.  The sampling technique in this study used a census. The method of collecting through questionnaires, observations, and library sutdi. The statistical analysis method is multiple linear regression with the help of the SPSS, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The results show that  job satisfaction  has  a  significant  effect  on  work  engagementchallengge demands  has  a  significant  effect  on  work  engagement. The result of the coefficient of determination is 0.344 which means that it is known that the influence given by the free variable, namely job satisfaction and challenge demands, on the bound variable, namely work engagement, is 34.4%, while the rest (100%-34.4%) = 65.6% is influenced by other factors outside the variable studied.
