Important Notes and General Author Guidelines

Important Notes

  • Abstract/Summary Submission Requirements: Academics interested in submitting conceptual or empirical scientific papers to the Journal of Economics and Entrepreneurship (JEKU) are required to write their manuscripts within 150–200 words in a single paragraph, using Times New Roman 12 pt, single spacing (1.0), inclusive of figures, tables, and references.
  • Language: Submitted manuscripts can be written in either Indonesian or English.
  • Originality Declaration: Authors must state that the submitted manuscript is entirely their own and has not been submitted elsewhere for publication.
  • Review Process: A double-blind peer review process is applied to all submitted papers, and the results will be sent to the corresponding author via email.
  • Revision Deadline: Paper revisions must be submitted within 3 months, starting from the first notification by the journal editor. Further notifications will be sent to remind authors of the remaining time.
  • Plagiarism Screening: Additionally, all pre-approved papers will be screened for plagiarism using iThenticate.
  • Conference Papers: Conference papers may be considered for publication in JEKU provided they are fully rewritten and obtain the necessary written permission from the copyright owner (if the paper has already been published and the publisher holds the rights).
  • Copyright: JEKU allows authors to retain their publishing rights and hold copyright without restriction.
