Abstrak

Online buying and selling transactions have become a popular choice in Indonesia. However, the relationship between the parties involved in these transactions often faces complex legal challenges. Apart from that, a lack of understanding means that the carrier is often the one who is blamed if the buyer complains about the goods they have purchased. This research aims to examine the carrier's or expedition company responsibility for the goods they send from a legal perspective in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive analysis by describing certain objects and explaining related matters. Data was obtained directly and indirectly, directly by conducting interviews and observations, while indirectly through the study of relevant legal literature and analysis of related laws and regulations. The research results show that the responsibility of the carrier and seller is for the goods sold and sent to the buyer. Responsibility is based on the problem that arises due to which party and from that it can be determined which party is responsible. It is hoped that this research can help increase legal awareness for parties in online transactions.
