Wacana Hukum (WH) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal established by the Faculty of Law, University of Slamet Riyadi, Surakarta.
The journal WH aims to disseminate scholarly research and conceptual analyses pertaining to distinct domains of law, encompassing Islamic Law, Customary Law, Economic Law, Law and Society, Comparative Law, International Law, Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, Criminal Law, and Human Rights issues in Indonesia and other developing nations. Its primary objective is to publish research of exceptional quality in these specified areas. The publication is consolidated into a single volume, with two issues released annually, specifically in the months of June and December.
The primary focus of the publication is to foster and promote worldwide collaboration in the pursuit of knowledge sharing initiatives. WH is dedicated to addressing legal matters pertaining to cultural diversity, religious diversity, ethnic diversity, and economic viewpoints that impact policy development and law enforcement. The presence of several influences ultimately leads to decision-making and policies that take into account factors beyond the normative aspects of the law. It is imperative to include diversity and economic viewpoints in order to effectively formulate and implement laws and regulations that align with the desires of the community, while mitigating potential conflicts. WH is dedicated to serving as a platform for the dissemination of legal research that focuses on legal diversity and economic perspectives in legal development, with a particular emphasis on Indonesia and other developing nations.
WH accepted a submission from all over the world. All submitted articles shall be written in English (since 2023), have never been published elsewhere, are original, and are not under consideration for other publications. For checking Plagiarism, WH Editorial Board will screen plagiarism using Turnitin Program. If it is found that there is a plagiarism indication (above 20%), the editorial board will automatically reject the manuscript immediately.
