Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Please make sure that authors understand and follow these terms before proceeding with the next step in article submission.
    The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor). Articles published in conferences will need to be altered prior to submission with at least 35% differences to the original paper, and pass our similarity check.
    Authors are bound to our Plagiarism Policy, thus careful considerations should be done prior to submitting the article. In any circumstances that Wacana Hukum found article has or being published elsewhere which is identical to the one published in Wacana Hukum, we will retract the article following COPE's guidelines on retracting articles and notify the author.
  • The submission file is in Document file format (doc, docx. rtf, or odt), following the author guidelines and article template. Please make sure that you use Mendeley to help in referencing. A guide to using Mendeley as a reference manager is provided.
    Failure to follow the guidelines will cost you time and perhaps the rejection of your manuscripts.
  • here available, URLs or DOIs for the references must be provided, and try to use the most up-to-date references. Do pay attention that Wacana Hukum prefers journal articles as references.
  • Authors are discouraged from withdrawing submitted manuscripts after it is in the publication process (review, copyedit, layout, etc.,). During the time, Wacana Hukum had spent valuable resources besides time spent in the process.
  • Since Wacana Hukum is a peer-reviewed journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Reviewed article needs to be followed.

Author Guidelines

A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Authors should submit an only manuscripts that has been carefully proofread. The manuscript is a scientific paper from research results or conceptual ideas. Written in Bahasa (Indonesian) or English. It is an original (no plagiarism) and has never been published in other media.

B. WRITING RULES

1. The manuscript is written 10-15 pages using Cambria font size 10 with 1.25 spacing on A4 size. For more details see the journal template!

2. Systematics of scriptwriting research results include:
a. Title
The title uses an effective sentence with a maximum of 15 words and gives a description of the contract number and source of research funding.
b. Identity of Author

· E-mail (Listed e-mail should be active because of the correspondence by e-mail)

c. Abstract
The abstract contains a brief introduction to the problem, objective of the manuscript, research methods, and a brief summary of result. The abstract is single-spaced typed in English maximum of 150 words. Written with Trebuchet MS (10 Pt) Italic.
d. Introduction
The introduction should be clear and provide the legal issue to be discussed in the manuscript. Before the objective, the author should provide an adequate background, and a very short literature survey in order to record existing solutions, to show which is the best of previous researchers, to show what do you hope to achieve (to show the limitation), and to show the scientific merit or novelties of the manuscript. In the end, you should explain the urgency and clearly state aims of your study. e. Problems
Write the issues that are studied from your writing here. The problem must be clear. At least one subject matter is reviewed.
f. Research Methods
This method is written in descriptive and should provide a statement regarding the methodology of the research, include the type of research, research approach, a source of data and analysis method. The author should explain the mechanism to analyze the legal issue. This method as much as possible to give an idea to the reader through the method used, this method is optional, only for an original research article.

g. Discussion
Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature. More details see journal template!
h. Conclusion
The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short Conclusions section. The conclusion section should lead the reader to important matter of the manuscript.
i. Suggestion
Author should provide suggestion or recommendation related to the object which is analyze and to stimulate further research.
j. References
References are based on article citations. More details see journal template!

C. FOOTNOTE AND REFERENCES
Each citation must be included references by using footnotes. The footnote does not contain any explanation or description and contains footnote protected by Copyright as stipulated in Law No. 28 The year 2014 concerning Copyright. Syntax references in the footnotes:
