Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of work motivation and work
discipline variables on the performance of Gojek drivers in Karanganyar. The population
in this study are all Gojek drivers in Karanganyar whose number cannot be known with
certainty. The number of samples used were 96 drivers and determined using the Slovin
formula. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. The type of data is primary
data, where the data collection method uses a questionnaire given to the drivers
encountered. Data analysis techniques include multiple linear regression, t test, F test and
the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of data analysis show that motivation
and work discipline have a significant effect on the performance of Gojek drivers in
Karanganyar, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (R2) is
0.337, which means that the independent variables consisting of work motivation and
work discipline affect the performance of Gojek drivers in Karangayar by 33.7%, while
the remaining 66.3% is influenced by other variables.
