Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ownership structure, the composition of
the board of commissioners, for financial performance in banking companies listed on the
Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2019-2021. This study uses a sample of 38 banking
companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2021 with a total of 114 data
collected. The independent variabel in this study is concertrated ownership structure, the
composition of the board of commissionares, while the dependent variabel is the financial
performance. The data analysis methode used in this study is multiple linier regression to
test the effect of the independen variable on the dependent variable.The results of this
study indicate that the concertrated ownership structure have a positive and significant
effect on financial performance, while the composition of the board of commissioners has
a negative and significant effect on financial performance.
