Abstract

Karanganyar Branch of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) is one of the most well-known State-Owned Companies (BUMN) in Indonesia, providing correspondence, giro, money transfer or exchange, and logistics services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relevance of the influence of work stress and motivation on the performance of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Karanganyar Branch employees. This research combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Obtaining data in the form of primary data and secondary data constitutes the data source. In this study, the population consisted of 56 PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Karanganyar Branch employees, hence a complete sample or census of 56 employees will be taken. This study employed descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, the t-test, the F-test (simultaneous test), and the determination coefficient test as its technique of analysis. This study indicates that work stress has no significant impact on the performance of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Karanganyar Branch personnel. Motivation has a substantial impact on PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Karanganyar Branch personnel. Work stress and motivation have a major impact on the performance of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Karanganyar Branch employees.
