PELAKSANAAN PENYIDIKAN TINDAK PIDANA KEKERASAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA OLEH UNIT PELAYANAN PEREMPUAN DAN ANAK DI KEPOLISIAN RESOR SUKOHARJO

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the
investigation of criminal acts of domestic violence by the PPA Unit at the Sukoharjo
Resort Police and to find out the obstacles encountered by investigators in order to
provide legal protection against Domestic Violence, which is mandated by Law
Number 23 of 2004. on the Elimination of Domestic Violence. The method in this
research is empirical juridical legal research that examines the implementation or
implementation of positive legal provisions in a factual manner in any particular
legal event. The results showed that the Police encountered obstacles that caused
the Surakarta Police to not be able to provide maximum legal protection in
accordance with statutory orders.
