Abstract

The author took the title of the research Community Participation in the Development of Telaga Madirda Tourism Objects, Berjo Village, Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency. This study aims to describe and analyze community participation in the development of Telaga Madirda tourism objects in Berjo Village, Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency This type of research is descriptive qualitative and the data analysis used is phenomenology with 4 informants. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Using 4 imdikators according to Aprilia Theresia (2014), namely participation in decision making, participating in activities, monitoring, evaluation, and utilization of results The level of community participation in the development of Lake Madirda tourism objects is high if measured by community participation indicators. The obstacle faced is accessibility. From the evaluation monitoring indicators, it is expected that the government appoints representatives from the community to participate in monitoring the evaluation so that the community is also involved in monitoring the evaluation. From the indicators of utilization of community results have received a positive impact from the development of Lake Madirda tourism objects, it is hoped that in the future they will innovate to make Lake Madirda more visitors.
