This study aims to improve students’ speaking skills in Procedure Text through the Amal Berkarakter model using audio-visual media. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis & McTaggart model in two cycles, involving 32 eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 21 Surakarta. Data were collected through speaking tests, observations, and interviews, and analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results showed an increase in the average score from 62.4 (pre-cycle) to 74.1 (cycle I) and 84.3 (cycle II). Significant improvements occurred in fluency, accuracy, pronunciation, vocabulary, and idea delivery, along with positive character values such as cooperation and responsibility. Audio-visual media helped clarify the material and boost student motivation.
