Abstract

Abstract. The smoking habit among teenagers is a serious problem that can have a negative impact on their physical and mental health. This article discusses the application of classical guidance services with the material “The Dangers of Smoking and Their Impact” for class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Sale, using the Problem-Solving Discussion method with audiovisual techniques. The aim of this practice is to provide students with a deeper understanding of the dangers of smoking and its impacts, as well as finding solutions to these problems through group discussions. As a result, the majority of students showed an increased understanding of the dangers of smoking and were more active in discussions after going through this guidance process.
