Abstract. This study aims to improve the ability of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 6 Kota Kediri to write procedure texts through the implementation of the Make a Match learning model. This research employs a qualitative approach with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted over two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The findings show a significant improvement in students' ability to write procedure texts after the application of the Make a Match model. This research contributes to the development of more interactive and effective teaching methods to enhance students' writing skills.
