ANALISIS HUKUM PIDANA DALAM PEMBERANTASAN TINDAK PIDANA KORUPSI DI WILAYAH HUKUM POLRES BAUBAU

Abstract

This study aims to determine the legal setting, the factors causing the
occurrence of corruption, the process of handling corruption and efforts to eradicate
corruption in the future in the jurisdiction of the Baubau Police.
The method used in this study is a normative legal research method, which
is a method based on a literature study to obtain materials that are in accordance
with the research issue. In collecting data using library research tools and interviews
From the data above, it can be concluded that with various factors that
cause corruption, in the process of handling corruption, Law Enforcement Officials
must stick to the corruption law that has been in effect by prioritizing criminal
responsibility with a fast and transparent process and sanctions that apply so
obvious that it can cause confusion. As part of efforts to eradicate corruption in the
future, it is necessary to emphasize on returning assets resulting from corruption as
a form of recovering state losses, which should be maximized.
