Penguatan Modal Sosial untuk Mengatasi Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga di Kota Surakarta

Domestic violence remains a pervasive social pathology undermining community productivity and welfare in Surakarta. Despite normative legal frameworks and institutional prevention efforts, case reporting suggests that many incidents remain concealed, akin to an iceberg phenomenon. This community service activity explores social capital as an empowering approach to mobilize women leaders and community actors in both urban and suburban settings (Surakarta and Desa Gagak Sipat, Ngemplak, Boyolali). Through participatory mapping, capacity-building workshops, and formation of peer-support networks among PKK and Ikatan Hantaran Indonesia Pancawati members, participants developed actionable plans to sustain anti-violence initiatives. Post-program evaluation indicates increased awareness of social capital assets, strengthened intergroup trust, and emergence of localized support groups for victims.
