This research uses a type of qualitative research using the method of literature study or literature study. Subjects in the study were taken from various previous studies that had similarities or relevance to&nbsp;this&nbsp;research. The results of this study indicate that character education has a significant role in the moral formation of children at elementary school age, this role must be supported and assisted by teachers and parents as the main actors in the formation of good character and morals&nbsp;of&nbsp;children. The world education system in Indonesia has always experienced crises, one of which is in the face of the emergency condition of the COVID-19 pandemic which has had many impacts on changes in Indonesian education. To overcome the crisis in the education system in Indonesia, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology) is making efforts to overcome the education crisis by designing a new curriculum, namely the independent curriculum, this curriculum can be implemented in schools that are ready. The independent curriculum applies a variety of in-curricular learning to enable students to optimally develop concepts and strengthen their competencies. In this research article using the library research method, namely library research, with the technique of collecting data based on reading and writing results from several references. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis kajian deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui hasil survey dan studi kepustakaan. Dari penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwasanya efektifitas penerapan program 7 poe atikan di Purwakarta ini efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa di sekolah. Sehingga Pendidikan yang dijalankan tidak hanya menjadikan siswa cerdas secara akademik, namun memiliki karakter yang baik bagi kehidupan bangsa. The number of samples was 27 students of SD Negeri Madyotaman No. 38 Surakarta for the 2022/2023 academic year who were selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The test was carried out twice, namely pretest and posttest with the aim of determining the improvement of students' science learning literacy skills before and after treatment. Data analysis techniques in the form of hypothesis tests with T-tests using the Paired Sample T-test formula. Data analysis obtained t<sub>count</sub> = 13.521 and t<sub>table</sub> with dk = (N-1) so (27-1) = 26 with a significance level of 5% which is 1.706. Then t<sub>count</sub> &gt; t<sub>table</sub> or 13.521 &gt; 1.706 which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This is an experiment research. The place of this research is in Kedungringin General Elementary School. The moment of this research is from February up to May of 2023. The independent variable (X) is the minister academic supervision with class visitation. The dependent variable (Y) is the pedagogic competency teachers in managing the class. The population is 8 teachers. The tool of collecting data is questionnaire (polling). The technique of analyzing data is using </em><em>Paired Sample t Test</em>.<em> The result of this research is academic supervision with class visitation has very strong and significant effect to the pedagogic competency teachers in managing the class. t<sub>calculation</sub> on [-12,28] with significance on 0,000 is bigger than t<sub>table</sub> (1,894). Before the treatment (pretest), the pedagogic competency teachers’ is including on good enough category (C). The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools. This type of research is qualitative research. Data was collected by interviewing teachers. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the independent curriculum pays attention to the philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara. The teacher's duty is to guide the growth and development of students in achieving the highest happiness both as individuals and as members of society. Implementation of an independent curriculum makes teachers flexible in developing learning in the classroom. Teachers are no longer burdened with a variety of solid materials and a lot to be completed in a short time. Students become more enthusiastic and enthusiastic in learning activities. The potential possessed by students becomes increasingly visible and developing. The implementation of this independent curriculum is supported by various stakeholders, so that it can run well and smoothly without any obstacles.
