PENGARUH SKARIFIKASI BENIH SENGON ( Paraserianthes falcataria (L ) Nielsen ) TERHADAP VIGOR DAN VIABILITAS

ABSTRAK
Penelitian Pengaruh Skarifikasi Benih Sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria (L ) Nielsen) terhadap vigor dan viabilitas Telah dilaksanakan tanggal 20 Mei 2012 sampai Tanggal 6 September 2012 di Laboratorium Benih Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Slamet Riyadi Surakarta.
Tujuan Penelitian 1. Untuk mengetahui mana yang terbaik pengaruh Skarifikasi Perendaman air panas 800 C selama 20,40,60 menit dan air dingin selama 24 menit atau benih dipanaskan 1000 C selama 5 menit dalam open dan direndam dalam air dibanding dengan kontrol tanpa perlakuan 2. Apakah skarifikasi dapat meningkatkan perkecambahan benih Sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria (L ) .
Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 2 faktor skarifikasi diulang tiga kali dianalisis dengan SPSS  dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan taraf 5 %
Faktor 1 Skarifikasi ada 4 taraf
P0 =Â Tanpa perlakuan
P1 = Perendaman air panas 800 C selama 20 menit dan air dingin selama 24 menit
P2 = Perendaman air panas 800 C selama 40 menit dan air dingin selama 24 menit
P3 = Perendaman air panas 800 C selama 60 menit dan air dingin selama 24 menit  Faktor 2 Skarifikasi
T1 = Dioven dengan 1000 C selama 5 menit dan dimasukan dalam air dingin
Dari hasil Penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa :
- Skarifikasi  P1, P2 , P3 berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan Prosentase Daya Kecambah, Viabilitas Potensial dan Kesempakan tumbuh benih.
- Skarifikasi T1 tidak meningkatkan Prosentase Daya Kecambah, Index Vigor, Viabilitas Potensial, Keserempakan tumbuh benih, Tinggi bibit dan jumlah daun umur dua bulan
- Semua Perlakuan Skarifikasi  P1, P2 , P3 tidak meningkatkan Index Vigor, Tinggi Bibit dan jumlah daun bibit umur dua bulan .
- Bagi Petani yang membuat bibit Sengon sebaiknya sebelum mengecambahkan benih dilakukan skarifikasi.dengan cara  P2, P3 karena peningkatan dan mempercepat    perkecambahan benih Sengon yang  paling optimal

ABSTRACT
Research scarification effect of Sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria (L) Nielsen) seed on vigor and viability. It has been held on May 20, 2012 until September 6, 2012 in, Laboratory Seed of the Agriculture Faculty, Slamet Riyadi University of Surakarta.
Research Objectives (1). To find out where the best scarification effect of hot water immersion 800 C for 20,40,60 minutes and cold water for 24 minutes or heated seeds 1000C for 5 minutes in the oven and soaked in water compared with untreated controls (2). Is scarification can increase germination Sengon seed.
This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) comprised of two scarification factors and three replications were analyzed with SPSSÂ Â followed by Duncan level of 5% Â test.
Factor 1 scarification have 4 level
P0 = Without the treatment
P1 = 800 C hot water immersion for 20 minutes and cool water for 24 minutes
P2 = 800 C hot water immersion for 40 minutes and cool water for 24 minutes
P3 = 800 C hot water immersion for 60 minutes and cool water for 24 minutes
Factor 2 scarification
T1 = Had been ovened at 1000 C for 5 minutes and put in cold water.
From the research results it can be concluded that:
- 1. Scarification treatment, P1, P2, P3 significantly affect the increase in percentage
Sprouts Power, Potential Viability and Simultanneous grow seeds - 2. T1 scarification treatment did not increase the percentage of power Sprouts, Index Vigor, Viability Potential, Simultanneous grow seeds, High seedlings and the number of leaves or the age of two months
- 3. All scarification treatments P1, P2, P3 does not improve, Vigor Index,
High seeds and number of leaves at the age of two months - 4. For farmers who make seeds Sengon preferably before Germination seed do skarifikasi. way P2,, P3, due to increased seed germination Sengon most optimal
