Shallot productivity in Indonesia is facing challenges due to low fertilizer efficiency and declining soil fertility. This study was conducted to analyze the effectiveness of foliar potassium application and chicken manure in improving shallot bulb formation. The study was conducted in Lampoko Village, Barebbo District, Bone Regency, from May-July 2025 using a factorial randomized block design (RBD). The first factor was chicken manure (ChM), consisting of ChM0 (without treatment), ChM1 (1.4 g/plant), and ChM2 (2.9 g/plant). The second factor was potassium treatment (Kt) consisting of Kt0 (without treatment), Kt1 (2 g/L), Kt2 (3 g/L), and Kt3 (4 g/L). The observed parameters included the number of bulbs per clump, bulb weight per clump, yield per plot, and yield per hectare. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and DMRT at the 5% level. The results showed that the application of foliar potassium, chicken manure, and their interaction had no significant effect on the number of bulbs, bulbs weight, and yield per plot. However, chicken manure had a significant effect on yield per hectare. Treatment Kt2 (3 g/L) produced the highest number of bulbs, while treatment Kt3 (4 g/L) produced the highest bulb weight. The application of chicken manure did not show a significant effect on all yield parameters, but ChM1 (1.4 g/plant) tended to produce better growth and yield response compared to the other treatments.
