The aim of this research is to determine efforts to resolve the Rohingya conflict in 2020-2021 using the Triangle of Satisfication Model approach. This research uses qualitative research methods to explain the escalation of the Rohingya conflict and the efforts made by international actors. This research uses the Triangle of Satisfication conflict resolution model theory to map the parties involved in a conflict and Human Rights which is used to describe violations of Rohingya rights by the Myanmar government. The results of this research are that each actor involved has their own interests, from the Myanmar side who want the Rohingya ethnic group to comply with all the rules in the 1982 Burmese Citizenship Law and from the Rohingya ethnic side who want their citizenship to be recognized. The conclusion of this research is that in terms of the Triangle of Satisfication model, intervention from international actors certainly has its own impact on the results, processes and emotions in the conflict between Myanmar and the Rohingya ethnic group, but in seeking peace it is still difficult to do so that protection becomes the focus given. international actors towards the Rohingya ethnic group.

Keywords: Rohingya; Myanmar; Triangle of Satisfication; Human rights
Yoga Pratama Putra Copyright (c) 2024 Yoga Pratama Putra https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-01-16 2024-01-16 1 1 The CHINA AND SOUTH KOREA'S HEGEMONIC Rivalry https://ejurnal.unisri.ac.id/index.php/gfa/article/view/10171
This research describes and analyses the struggle for cultural hegemony between China and South Korea through case of Korean wave or Hallyu ban policy by government of China in 2016-2017. The dynamics of the South China Sea dispute have endangered the territorial integrity and sovereignty of surrounding countries, especially Indonesia. This research focuses on the preventive diplomacy carried out by Indonesia in the South China Sea dispute. Indonesia took a role in the South China Sea dispute through the Workshop on Managing Potential Conflict in the South China Sea. The aim is to prevent political escalation and conflict. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods to understand and find out problems or phenomena. This research uses preventive diplomacy theory and conflict resolution theory. Preventive diplomacy has an important role in preventing conflict from recurring. Meanwhile, in conflict resolution theory, this research uses the Circle of Conflict model to look at conflict resolution strategies. So that the South China Sea dispute does not spread further and breaks the chain of conflict that was initially tense between China and the countries involved, it becomes relatively more conducive and discussions seek solutions through mutually beneficial cooperation. The result of this research is that a Workshop on Managing Potential Conflict in the South China Sea, which was initiated by Indonesia, created stronger relations between the countries in dispute. Strengthening this relationship creates values or strengthens each other's beliefs. Apart from that, Indonesia also carries out security cooperation efforts both bilaterally and multilaterally with Southeast Asian countries.
Roisa Copyright (c) 2024 Roisa https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0 2024-01-16 2024-01-16 1 1
