Typically, the villagers continue to rely on forage fodder, such as grass and agricultural waste, to feed their poultry and cattle. Hence, the objective of our community activity is to acquaint the inhabitants of Kalikesur Village with the Azolla plant as a substitute feed and as a material for bio-organic fertilizer. We also want to teach cultivating methods so that an Azolla business group can be established. Getting to know one another, sharing insights on the value and advantages of Azolla for animal feed and bio-organic fertilizers, constructing basic bio-flocks (ponds), learning how to cultivate and harvest Azolla, creating fertilizer with Azolla as a base, and initiating new Azolla marketing campaigns on social media were some of the activities that took place. One of the program's many results is the technology transfer for growing Azolla, which may be used as a bio-organic fertilizer and a nutritional feed alternative. Additionally, it creates instructions for growing Azolla and using it as bio-organic fertilizer and animal feed. Additionally, the program provides manuals on the business analysis of Azolla. It contributes to the increase in livestock production, thereby enhancing the income and welfare of community service partners and the surrounding region.
Adhi Susilo, Indah Setia Utami, Adi Suryanto Copyright (c) 2024 Adhi Susilo, Indah Setia Utami, Adi Suryanto https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.unisri.ac.id/index.php/JAKADIMAS/article/view/10101 Mon, 06 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Building a Smart Village Based on Entrepreneurship in Karangrejo Hamlet, Ngringo Village, Jaten District, Karanganyar Regency https://ejurnal.unisri.ac.id/index.php/JAKADIMAS/article/view/10534
The development of entrepreneurship-based Smart village in Karangrejo Hamlet, Ngringo Village, Jaten District, Karanganyar Regency has been the focus of efforts to improve the economy and the well-being of the community. Stunting is used as an indicator of a child's growth process that is not good. Stunting is also used as an indicator of the achievements of a country's development process as outlined in the sustainable development goals (SDGs). Mojosongo Village is one of the sub-districts in Banjarsari District, Surakarta, Central Java. One of the sub-districts with still high stunting rates in Surakarta City. Handling of stunting in the City of Surakarta is carried out through several areas including economic, environmental, educational, facilities and infrastructure, and monitoring in the health sector. Based on the identification carried out, it was discovered that factor causing stunting is food availability at the family level or what is usually called food security. To support food security at the family level, one thing parents can do is provide food that is varied, nutritious and affordable for children. Efforts that can be made are by providing a varied menu as a complementary food for breast milk (MP-ASI). Fulfilling nutrition at the family level requires increasing family skills in providing healthy food, so it is necessary to provide training on MP-ASI processing for health cadres or parents. The training was carried out using lecture and direct practice methods and was attended by 46 participants consisting of health cadres in Mojosongo Village, UPPKB, and also parents. There are 4 high-protein processed ingredients provided, namely cheese potato sticks, milk corn pudding, macaroni schotel, and also soa noodles. Training participants, especially health cadres, gain knowledge and skills that are useful for preparing additional food (Pemberian Makanan Tambahan, PMT) for families of stunting sufferers.
Nanik Suhartatik, Fadilah Husnun, Irvia Resti Puyanda Copyright (c) 2024 Nanik Suhartatik, Fadilah Husnun, Irvia Resti Puyanda https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.unisri.ac.id/index.php/JAKADIMAS/article/view/10750 Tue, 28 May 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Empowerment of Kelompok Tani Kerja Pertanian Peternakan Perikanan (K2P3) Fafinesu Village Through Post-Harvest Handling Training of Passocery https://ejurnal.unisri.ac.id/index.php/JAKADIMAS/article/view/10756
Fafinesu Village is one of the villages in Kecamatan Insana tengah, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara (TTU) NTT which has been involved in horticulture cultivation, especially passion fruit, on a fairly large land area. Passion fruit plants are cultivated together with other horticulture such as papaya and vegetables (tomatoes and chilies). The large amount of passion fruit harvested by Kelompok Tani Kerja Pertanian Peternakan Perikanan (K2P3) which was formed in 2020 in Fafinesu Village has not been utilized optimally and its economic value is not yet visible. Knowledge of post-harvest handling of passion fruit is not widely known by the public. Passion fruit business opportunities are still quite wide open because of marketing opportunities. However, one of the factors that is an obstacle to developing passion fruit is post-harvest technology which is not yet known to farmers. This community service program aims to increase farmers' knowledge and skills in post-harvest handling of passion fruit in order to increase the economic value of passion fruit. One product that is long-lasting is using a high sugar concentrate, so training was carried out in making an instant passion fruit drink combined with the medicinal rhizome plant (turmeric) to become a traditional turmeric and passion fruit sour drink product. The method used in this activity is practice and assistance in processing passion fruit. Community service was successful thanks to the active participation of farmer groups by producing new passion fruit processing products in the form of traditional instant drinks. The knowledge and skills of farmer groups increase and will ultimately have an impact on increasing production and the economy
Endah Mulat Satmalawati -, Hyldegardis Naisali, Eduardus Y. Maharani Dwi Bayu Kalanganyar Sidoarjo for Making Spicy Fish Sauce https://ejurnal.unisri.ac.id/index.php/JAKADIMAS/article/view/10749
Kalanganyar is a village whose 2/3 area consists of ponds and producers of milkfish, tiger prawns, shrimp paste, processed milkfish and crackers. Most of the milkfish from Kalanganyar are sold fresh, but some are processed into various processed products, including smoked milkfish, shredded milkfish, crackers, soft spiny milkfish and crispy milkfish. One of the producers of crispy milkfish is CV. Maharani Dwi Bayu. Milkfish that is processed into crispy milkfish will leave behind waste in the form of heads, tails and milkfish bones/spines. So far, this waste has not been utilized optimally. To overcome this problem, the heads and bones of milkfish are used as raw materials for making spicy fish sauce. The resulting soy sauce can be used as a complement to smoked milkfish or presto milkfish as a substitute for chili sauce. Training has been carried out on processing fish sauce at CV. MAHARANI DWI BAYU, Jalan Raya Kalanganyar Wetan, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency. Apart from holding training on processing fish sauce from milkfish bones and heads, supporting equipment for soy sauce processing was also handed over, namely pressure cookers, vacuum filters, steamers and hot guns. The people of Kalanganyar are very happy and enthusiastic about taking part in training to gain new knowledge and new innovative products.
Sri Winarti, Titi Susilowati Copyright (c) 2024 Sri Winarti, Titi Susilowati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ejurnal.unisri.ac.id/index.php/JAKADIMAS/article/view/10749 Sat, 01 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0700 Development of a Budikdamber System in Fulfilling Family Food Security https://ejurnal.unisri.ac.id/index.php/JAKADIMAS/article/view/10734
This training in agriculture was carried out based on problems in urban areas.
