MEMANFAATKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI MATERI MEMAHAMI BERBAGAI SISTEM DALAM KEHIDUPAN MANUSIA BAGI SISWA SMP MUHAMADIYAH 2 SURAKARTA KELAS VIII B PADA SEMESTER I TAHUN 2012/2013

Abstrak

ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar hasil belajar Biologi pada materi Memahami berbagai sistem dalam kehidupan manusia siswa kelas VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013dengan memenfaatkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi dengan strategi Pembelajaran tipe Jigsaw yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Penelitian dilakukan dengan penilaian kognitif dan afektif dalam setiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kognitif siswa pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 71 dan Sikles II meningkat lagi menjadi 75dari nilai awal sebesar 57 ; sedangkan nilai efektif dari kondisi awal yang motifasinya rendah ke kondisi akhir motivasi meningkat) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas VIII B SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta pada seester I tahun ajaran 2012/2013.

in the first semester 2012/2013 using jigsaw type cooperative learning. This research is a class act consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection using jigsaw type learning strategy that is done in two cycles. The study is conducted with the cognitive and affective valuation in each cycle. The obtaining results show that the student average value in the first cognitive cycle increase to 71 and the second cycle increase to 75 from initial value of 57, while the effective value of the initial conditions of low motivation are increase at the final conditions. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that learning by utilizing jigsaw type cooperative learning can improve biology learning outcomes for class VIII B student of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 2 of Surakarta in the first semester 2012/2013
